Jasa Merin to sell vessel for RM30m
SILK Holdings Berhad's subsidiary Jasa Merin Sdn Bhd is selling its vessel for RM30 million cash

It did not disclose the buyer's name. Proceeds from the sale will be utilised partially to pay off a RM14.1 million loan, with the balance for working capital.

Jasa Merin yesterday entered into an agreement to sell a 1,075-tonne vessel, which will be delivered to the buyer after completing its current contract that expires on February 16 2010.

The audited net book value as at July 31 2009 was RM20.2 million.
